Evolve Techs., LLC. v. Coil Winding Specialist, Inc., No. 3:18-cv-00671BEN-BGS (S.D. Ca.) – Represented a patent owner in a patent infringement lawsuit that resulted in a settlement by an amicable business solution.

ThinkOptics, Inc. v. Nintendo of Am., Inc., No. 6:11-cv-455 (E.D. Tx.) – Represented a patent owner in a patent infringement lawsuit against Nintendo that result in a favorable settlement immediately leading up to trial.

Supported lead counsel in a patent infringement lawsuit to defend a global corporation against assertions of infringement of over 500 patent claims, including generating invalidity contentions and preparing Markman briefing.

Google, Inc. v. Cioffi et al., CBM2017-00009, CBM2017-00010, CBM2017-00011, CBM2017-00014, CBM2017-00015, CBM2017-00016 (P.T.A.B) – Represented a patent owner against Google to successfully argue at the Patent Trial and Appeals Board that patents were not covered business method patents, which resulted in institution of Covered Business Method Review being denied.

Xilinx, Inc. v. Noregin Assets N.V., LLC, Inter Partes Reexamination, Control No. 95/001,703 – Prosecuted an inter partes reexamination on behalf of a third party requester to cancellation of all but four of 100 claims.

Performed due diligence and valuation on a number of patent families on behalf of a client to acquire non-core technology patents to assert in a defensive posture in licensing negotiations with a global company, and continued strategic prosecution of acquired pending patent applications for use in the licensing negotiations.

Drafted non-infringement and invalidity opinions relating to patents directed to accelerometer and gyroscope microelectromechanical (MEM) devices.

Reviewed patent portfolio of adverse company to advise client regarding exposure during licensing efforts.
